If you're in an accident, why is it so important to bring an injury claim?

We see advertisements by hundreds of lawyers on TV, billboards, radio, print, every place and any place that there is advertising - we see lawyer advertising.

The message every lawyer sends is very clear, if you have been injured due to the negligence of another, then you should bring an inury claim.

Injury claims as a means by which to be compensated for personal injuries began thousands of years ago.  Throughout history there have been ways by which people seek and receive compensation from others that have injured them.

Personal injury claims are not about 'winning the lottery' or getting more money than someone deserves, rather these claims are about making people "whole" again.  Since we cannot change the fact that someone has been injured, the only way to be made "whole" is by a payment of money.

Injury claims do not just benefit or "make whole' the person that is bringing the claim, they also encourage manufacturers, employers, doctors and other businesses to act with care when attending to the needs of society.

These reasons and many more explain why indivduals should make injury claims when they have been injured by the negligence or wrongdoing of another.

When I began my research to find a way for lawyers to enter the world of mobile marketing, I was stymied. There just seemed to be no way to connect lawyers to consumers (and their cell phones). After several years of research and reaching out to some of the best marketing minds and companies in the country, I was fortunate to come across the concept of abbreviated dialing codes [ADCs].

Then the real work began... Connecting with individual wireless carriers to provision an ADC proved to be a very difficult task. But with the help of my incredible staff and some extremely helpful people at Verizon Wireless, AT&T and SPRINT, in the Spring of 2010, we were able to activate #4LAW [#4529] on these wireless carrier networks which connected consumers across their country via their cell phones with lawyers and law firms across the country.

In the summer of 2010, we began the process of contacting lawyers across the country to sell exclusive territorial licenses for the shared use of #4LAW. Our goal is to brand this concept and ADC, so that whenever any cell phone user needs a lawyer, all they have to do is dial #4LAW to connect to a lawyer in their area.

More to come!
